Is a peel the right treatment for me?

What is a Dermaceutic peel?

A medical range of superficial peels, AHA and BHA (alpha hydroxy acid and beta hydroxy acid) are used, particularly glycolic acid, the smallest fruit acid molecule. In medium peels, the most widely used agent is TCA (Trichloroacetic acid).

What to expect with a Mask, Milk and Cosmo Peel?

A session lasts between 15 and 30 minutes and takes place as follows: cleaning, application of the peel, and neutralization. Some peels are performed as a series of 4 sessions, which take place over the course of several weeks.
What does a peel feel like?
When the peeling agent is applied, you will feel some tingling and a warm sensation.

What to expect with a Cosmo TCA peel?

Depending on the intensity of the peel, you may observe a sensation similar to mild sunburn, slight flaking, or desquamation for about 3 days following the treatment.

Do I need to prepare my skin before a peeling?

It is highly recommended that patients use the homecare regimen prescribed by their doctor to prepare the skin and get the most out of the treatment. You must start the skin care program at least 2 weeks before the first peel.

Is there appropriate aftercare with my peeling?
Each peel has recommended homecare products depending on what is wanting to be achieved I,e pigmentation problems require different products to skin aging or acne products
What about going in the Sun?

It is strongly advised to avoid the sun and wear Sun Ceutic ( SPF 50 ) or K Ceutic ( SPF 50 ) post peel to ensure UVA and UVB protection.
